Manchester PopFest

Manchester Popfest is a new festival which will be held over two days on August 15th and 16th at Kraak Gallery and Islington Mill respectively, featuring a mixture of bands, art and film screenings. This year we have Cardiff indie-pop band the School headlining on Sunday, supported by latest Upset the Rhythm signings Pega Monstro, fellow Elefant Records bands Papa Topo and Los Bonsais and also Spread Eagle which features former vocalist Jane McKeown from the 90's pop band Lungleg. The Saturday will include Slowcoaches, Keel Her, Spinning Coin (Glasgow), Seeds of Doubt, Passion Pusher, a mini zine festival and more. As well as this we also have the first Manchester screening of the Sarah Records documentary 'My Secret World: The Story of Sarah Records'.
